Celebrating success in 2024 legal directories
Winter has well and truly arrived here, and that means it’s time to reflect on directory rankings. Thank you to all our clients and peers who have supported Twenty Essex over the past 12 months. We couldn’t do it without the fascinating, challenging and rewarding work that you share with our outstanding team.
Announcements season officially began with the launch of The Legal 500 UK Bar 2024 on 4 October.
In a first for 2024, The Legal 500 has introduced a new practice area, Crypto and Blockchain Assets, in which we are delighted to have been recognised as a Top Tier set and to have six of our members receive individual rankings.
Overall, our barristers and arbitrators received 34 new individual rankings in 12 different practice areas, with eight barristers having been ranked for the first time as Twenty Essex members.
On 19 October, Chambers and Partners UK Bar 2024 launched, and we are thrilled to have gained new set rankings in Banking & Finance, Environment, and Cryptoassets.
Overall, our barristers and arbitrators received eight new individual rankings, with 28 members improving their ranking from last year.
On 5 December, Who’s Who Legal published their Arbitration 2024 report for England, which features 16 of our members – 13 as ‘Recommended’ and three as ‘Future Leaders’.
And to round the year off, on 14 December, Chambers and Partners launched their 2024 Asia-Pacific Guide and we are pleased to say that our members have received several new and improved rankings.
The start of 2024 saw The Legal 500 publish their Asia-Pacific Guide, in which we received eight new or improved rankings for six members, and a new set ranking in International Arbitration: Counsel.
